As Andrea says, they don’t want to know it. You can’t make sense of nonsense. I’m sorry that it’s your family - it’s much easier when they are (anti-vax and christian nationalist) neighbors. I agree to find like-minded people so we know we aren’t the crazy ones.
That's definitely a difficult and painful question. Of course each person has to make that determination for each relationship.
Most of my extended family who votes for Trump actually distanced themselves from me during his first term. I don't have many family members in my life these days, and the few I do, believe as I do. I have friends who are struggling with their relationships with parents and siblings tho. I don't know how to answer this, sadly. Maybe someone else reading will have some advice!
